It's almost Xmas and I have had no time for card making.  However we did have a wonderful cruise to New Zealand and a very relaxing holiday.  The geese have had 13 babies so we now have 21 geese, we have 1 large duckling and 4 little ones, still being cossetted in the little ones shed.  One hen is sitting on some eggs so we'll see what happens in a few weeks.  Here's a look at the goslings when they were little.

I have been so busy with my other life that nothing is happening here.  I have made a few cards and am now grandgoosemother to 13 goslings.  They are so cute and quite large considering they just came out of an egg.  Beryl Bantam had a disaster with her eggs but she has 2 chook eggs now so hopefully she won't run out of patience.  Quibbles (turkey hen) is sitting on eggs and I got some fertile ones from friends so hopefully she will hatch out something for her efforts.  I'm not sure Gobbles is fertile so we have a little insurance.

A lovely day today after all the terrible weather.  One of the ducks is sitting on eggs and the geese are still fighting.  A couple of cards for friends again.  I was experimenting with background techniques and it's only OK.  With some sun a chance to weed the asparagus bed so we can have some fresh for spring.... Roll on the sun.

A few cards I have made for friends.  I enjoy this steampunk from Graphic 45 and a little inspiration from Papercrafts Mag.  Also our fabulous watchdog on duty.  Meanwhile the geese are on the back verandah and we all know what that means......

Oh Melissa, Thank you for commenting and your inspiration.  I didn't even know the address of my blog but here it is and I've found it again.  I've had a great day with friends today, we embossed alumium foil, we scrunched it, we used it with die cuts and corrugated cardboard.  Then we painted it, alcohol inked it, stained it and sprayed it.  We came up with all sorts of ideas for embellishments and were quite pleased with ourselves.  It's nice to have some creative time - I have spent way too much time at the Bridge Club and on Bridge related activities.  On a positive note I (& partners) have had 2 wins and then a 2nd last to get me into perspective.  All the ducks are laying and I am saving eggs to put under M3 & M4 when I have enough.  The geese are fighting and we think we have 2 males and 5 females, but one of them is very fiesty.  She's either a girl with attitude or a closet boy - we will see....  Beautiful day for the middle of winter, full moon at night and lovley clear days.  Isn't life grand.

These are some of my June kit cards (Simon Says Stamp).  This is a very romantic set and the feathers were from my little Rooster.
OK I didn't get his right but I'm still trying.

I'm not sure I'm getting this right but I am trying.  It's raining and the dogs are asleep.  The geese and ducks are getting ready to go into the shed and the chooks have already retired.  I need to think of something Alice for next month's postcard and get another 10 cards made for my sister.  This must be the other things...
